Director of Business Development

An exciting Lancaster, NY based marketing solutions firm is seeking a Director of Business Development to join its team. The candidate will be responsible for sales revenue, marketing and client services for the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company with a very diverse product and service offering and operating one US and one overseas office. This position reports to the CEO. The responsibilities of the Director include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Overall sales revenue growth
  • Develop, coordinate and implement plans designed to increase business  from the large and loyal  current client base and capture new revenue opportunities
  • Be involved in strategic marketing and planning with the senior management team , setting objectives and identifying methods to reach those goals
  • Develop proposals and presentations for new client pitches
  • Deliver presentations, conduct seminars, and participate in meetings with clients, external vendors or advisors
  • Manage all of firm’s sales and marketing functions including:
  • Daily management of team of sales executives and client service team
  • Motivating and training revenue team
  • Monitoring and reporting sales performance
  • Management of firm’s marketing efforts including print collateral, website, social media and other campaigns
  • Build solid personal book of business
  • Network with the necessary sales, marketing and industry organizations
